At bubble, we have a strong commitment to provide high quality care and education for young children and their families. To achieve this we base our educational experience on current research of best early childhood practice. The program reflects the Reggio Emilia Approach. At bubble children work on projects important to them. The projects emerge from their own ideas or can be provoked by educators. Children actively participate in a variety of challenging and interesting experiences. They learn to communicate, investigate, make independent choices and have opportunities to work in groups where co-operation is encouraged in a supportive and fail-free environment. Our daily schedule reflects a framework that is similar to a traditional preschool, but in this philosophy, we honor the natural rhythms of children and respect the special moments where children are fully engaged. We therefore have the flexibility to adapt our plans to accommodate their educational needs.
Bubble believes that all children are filled with an amazing potential that develops at an early age. It is a program cultivates collaboration in a supportive community with innovative faculty and meaningful partnerships with children and their families. We know that long-lasting bonds have a positive impact on a child’s first early learning experience. Families make a conscious decision to enroll their children in this particular educational environment, because they value original and creative thinking. Parents and educators support the children in their quest to understand new concepts as they take risks to discovery answers through hands-on exploration. The bubble philosophy is to always keep learning play based, hands-on and creative; respecting children as growing individuals.
The bubble Preschool Program is held in a fresh, modern, and innovative space – Colors are bright and FUN, furniture is MODERN & clean, the environment is SAFE + nurturing – perfect for your 2, 3 or 4/5 year old to learn, discover & explore. Manipulative, learning materials, toys, dramatic play
The bubble philosophy embraces developmental principles that encourage each child’s social, emotional, intellectual, moral, and physical development. We believe that children learn through a multi-sensory approach that encourages asking questions, finding answers, and sharing discoveries.
We recognize that school must have a close connection with family life as our young students embark on their education outside the home. Time is spent building a close relationship with families so that each child’s unique story can be incorporated into the life of the classroom.
Activities that encourage independence and self-care are woven throughout the curriculum. We believe that children’s individual interests should be respected as they learn to ask questions, find answers, take risks and share their discoveries with others through a multi-sensory approach.
Teachers are the backbone of our program. We believe that the success of a school depends on the quality of its staff. Head Teachers at bubble are NY State certified in early childhood education; Assistant Teachers, present in each classroom, have extensive classroom experience, and all the teachers are encouraged to grow professionally.
